Chakradance First Friday!

Chakradance class is offered on the first Friday of every Month! In each class, you will have the opportunity to dive into this beautiful practice of free-form dance movement along with healing sounds.  Give yourself the gift of connecting within during this Friday series. Beginners encouraged. No need to be a dancer to participate.

About Chakradance:

Chakradance is an empowering yet gentle practice of self-discovery. Drawing on the wisdom of Jungian psychology we blend free-form movement with chakra-resonant music and guided imagery to open ourselves and go deeper. Each class will last approximately 1 hour including a short warm-up, the dance, and reflection time where we create mandala art to help us express the experience of the dance in a physical form. The series will explore each of the 7 major chakras including an introductory dance and integration dance at the beginning and end respectively.

As you connect with each chakra in the dances you may begin to feel more balanced and energized or you may release old energies that have been holding you back- finding a way to let go of what is no longer serving you. Past participants have said that doing the dance is a little like being in a waking dream, where feelings, sensations, images, or realizations just show up and help to create a better understanding of ourselves.

Who: Chakradance welcomes all adults to class.

Where: All Classes are held at Snyder Dojo- 670 Maple Hill Dr., Kalamazoo MI

Cost:  The self-investment for a single class is $25 per individual or $40 for two!
