Freedom Chakradance Series

Our next Chakradance cycle is almost here!

Join us for the Freedom Cycle- where we connect to the natural world around us giving focus to the elements as well as inward to ourselves.

In this 8-week series, participants will travel through each of the 7 major chakras and culminate the experience with an integration Chakradance.

Chakradance is a dynamic wellness practice that uses music specifically created to resonate within our chakras, helping to more easily open and move the energy within them. There are no set steps to this moving meditation- we are asked to let the music move our bodies allowing them to unwind and release anything no longer serving our highest good.

In these approximately 90-minute classes, we will have the opportunity to practice going inward and listening to our bodies. We will learn to see if a chakra is unbalanced and a few ways to work with the energy centers as well as how to continue their healing beyond the dance. Afterward, we will create mandala art to help us keep the experience with us long after we have left the space.

Past participants have said that Chakradance is a little like going into a trance or a waking dream. It allows us to take ourselves outside of our normal realm of awareness and focus intently on our bodies and the experiences within them.

All adults are welcome. You do not need to be an artist or dancer to participate in this workshop!

Chakradance is typically done in a darkened room and in bare feet to better connect with the earth. If you know that dancing barefoot does not work for your body, please bring a pair of clean dry shoes to change into.
